About Amy:

I’m Amy, I’m a detention custody officer and content creator. I love doing YouTube, creating content, being creative, skincare and beauty, true crime, anything witchy and tarot, spending time with family and friends, attending goodgirl events!

My journey of self love and self expression has been a rocky road, my body especially has changed so much over the years, but I’m choosing to be happy with what I have knowing that I’m lovely inside out! My journey of self expression is never ending, I’ve done photoshoots for 10 years and I love having fun with it! Dressing up, I love expressing myself this way!

How has your Goodgirl experience been?

I met co-owner Georgia just before the first ever event, we were messaging loads I could tell she was my kind of girl, I also got back in contact with one of my best friends Hannah through Goodgirl so we could go together and rekindle our friendship after years! The first Goodgirl event in April 2023 was just incredible I can’t put into words how much Goodgirl has made my life better, I’ve gained so many friends, including Ag who is the other founder! I’ve joined this incredible community where no one cares but also we all care for each other simultaneously it’s indescribable!

What's your one piece of advice for someone wanting to attend a Goodgirl event?
​
My one piece of advice to any first time Goodgirl is, do it! Just do it! Go for it! Let it go! Have fun! Get dressed up, get your hair and nails done, make sure you feel GOOD in your outfit, if your unsure if you should take something off or go for a shot you want to do but aren’t sure it’s really ‘you’ then that’s why you should do it because when you look back at those pictures your confidence will grow so much! I’d also recommend the events for an even more fun experience!
